Reflection
Reflections provide us with an opportunity to examine our feelings, thoughts, actions and words. This examination helps us to better understand what was learned and what needs to be done to increase learning.
For many of us this may be the first time we are reflecting on something we have done or heard. It may feel a bit awkward at first, but with practice, it will become second nature.
Here are some questions to consider when writing your reflection:
What you have learned?
What would you do differently next time?
Why is what you have chosen relevant or important?
For many of us this may be the first time we are reflecting on something we have done or heard. It may feel a bit awkward at first, but with practice, it will become second nature.
Here are some questions to consider when writing your reflection:
What you have learned?
- What did you learn about the value that was introduced to you?
- What do you know now that you didn’t know before?
- How are the values demonstrated?
- What did you discover about the way you learnt these values?
- What can you do now that you couldn’t do before?
What would you do differently next time?
- What went right? What went wrong?
- How will you use what you have learned from this experience to improve your behaviour towards others in school and at home?
- What areas still need improvement?
Why is what you have chosen relevant or important?
- How does this entry create a picture of you?
- Did you learn anything about yourself?
